Meet Mack!
Sometimes life changes in ways no one expects. Mack’s beloved owner recently had to enter a VA nursing home in Virginia, leaving this wonderful boy without the family he’s known and loved. Now, at 5 years old, Mack is searching for a second chance and a new family to call his own.
Mack is everything you couldwant in a companion:- Sweet and gentle- Well-mannered and respectful- Friendly and affectionate- Active enough for adventures, but happy to relax by your side
- Neutered and up to date on all vaccines
Mack is a handsome shepherd mix with a heart as big as his smile. He loves people, enjoys attention, and has the kind of loyal personality that makes dogs such incredible friends.
Whether he’s out for a walk, enjoying belly rubs, or making you laugh with his goofy side, Mack simply wants to be loved. He is gentle with other dogs and did go to visit his cousin the cat on several occasions.
After losing the only home he’s known, Mack deserves a family who will give him the security, kindness, and companionship he’s been missing.

At Save-A-Pet’s Long Island animal shelter, we believe it is our moral responsibility to protect and improve the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless cats and dogs, and to place them in loving permanent homes.
