Whether it’s a long walk through the neighborhood or a hike on a wooded trail, Cookie is your perfect adventure buddy. She’s active, curious, and always ready to explore the world by your side.
Cookie is still young and eager to learn, making her an ideal companion for an active person or family who will help her continue to blossom. She’s already stolen our hearts—and we know she’ll steal yours too.

Save-A-Pet is a 501c3 no-kill shelter and have rescued and re-homed over 40,000 companion animals. We rely solely on donations. Save-A-Pet is located in the heart of Long Island in Port Jefferson Station. We have a low-cost vaccination and spay/neuter clinic. At Save-A-Pet’s Long Island animal shelter, we believe it is our moral responsibility to protect and improve the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless cats and dogs, and to place them in loving permanent homes. We provide spay and neuter services for Long Island feral cats and any necessary medical care for pets. We work diligently to educate the public, especially children, on the importance of pet sterilization, responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals.
