Joe Rock and WBAB have teamed up with Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue & Adoption to help find your Pawfect Pet!
Each Wednesday, Joe will choose a Pet of the Week and will highlight that pet! A new pet will be chosen and featured each week!

Gracie is a stunning Shepherd with soulful eyes and a heart full of love. Whether she’s trotting by your side on a walk or quietly resting at your feet, Gracie is the kind of companion who makes you feel understood without a single word.
She’s smart, sensitive, and incredibly loyal—true to her shepherd nature. Gracie thrives on routine, enjoys gentle affection, and wants nothing more than a calm, loving home where she can feel safe and connected.
Gracie would do best with someone who understands her breed and can offer her the guidance and companionship she craves. Once she trusts you, you’ll have a devoted best friend for life.
📍 Ready to welcome this beautiful soul into your heart and home? Gracie is waiting to meet you. Gracie’s owner had to move out of the country and had to surrender 3 dogs. To adopt, come on down or apply in advance at saveapetusa.org/adoption-form/
Save-A-Pet is a 501c3 no-kill shelter and have rescued and re-homed over 40,000 companion animals. We rely solely on donations. Save-A-Pet is located in the heart of Long Island in Port Jefferson Station. We have a low-cost vaccination and spay/neuter clinic. At Save-A-Pet’s Long Island animal shelter, we believe it is our moral responsibility to protect and improve the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless cats and dogs, and to place them in loving permanent homes. We provide spay and neuter services for Long Island feral cats and any necessary medical care for pets. We work diligently to educate the public, especially children, on the importance of pet sterilization, responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals.
If you are looking to adopt a pet, please view the dogs and cats at our Long Island adoption shelter and then fill out our online adoption application at saveapetusa.org
