German rats snatch bats from mid air

Rats in Germany have been recorded on infrared cameras capturing and eating bats for the first time. The bats are attempting to get into their shelter, but crafty rats lie in wait. In the darkness, the rats are almost totally blind, but it’s thought they use their whiskers to sense changes in air currents and wingbeats to successfully catch their airborne prey.
