We got word this morning that legendary Yankees Radio Broadcaster John Sterling passed away at the age of 87.
He was the voice of summer for many from 1989 - 2024. He even called 5060 straight games before taking a day off.
We listened to Sterling’s good and not-so-good moments as well as spoke “Murph” the voice of summer for the Mets for decades as well if he welcomed John to Heaven yet.

In 2023, John Sterling was hit by a Justin Turner foul ball IN THE BOOTH during the ninth inning. He STILL finished the game, as the Yankees went on to defeat the Red Sox🔥
